Job summary

Interstate Batteries in Florence, SC is seeking a dependable Hot Shot Driver to deliver batteries to dealers and support warehouse operations. You will run assigned routes on a timely basis, load and unload batteries, and assist Route Managers.

This role requires basic math and good computer skills, a clean driving record, and the ability to operate a motor vehicle or forklift. You will follow safety rules and interact professionally with customers and team members.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and do basic math.
• Working knowledge of computers or ability to learn applicable systems.
• Working knowledge of electronic inventory management tools is required (tablets, scanners).
• Must have a clean driver's record AND meet driver qualifications requirements.
• Ability to operate a motor vehicle and/or forklift.

Responsibilities

• Run the Hot Shots and assigned routes on a timely basis as needed.
• Load and unload batteries.
• General warehousing duties as assigned by management, including assisting customers.
• Deliver batteries to customers on a timely basis and in a safe and professional manner.
• Follow all Environmental Health and Safety rules and policies.
• Accurately complete reports and claims.
• Interact professionally with all stakeholders including team members, managers and customers.
