Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Materials Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent research experience.
• 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong analytical, research, problem-solving, and experimental skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research and develop solutions for challenging battery and energy-storage problems.
• Design and execute experiments to test hypotheses.
• Perform scientific analysis of test and experimental data.
• Support battery material characterization and cell development.
• Research cathode and anode chemistries, including LFP.
• Work on battery performance modeling and cell qualification.
• Support battery cell manufacturing and new cell design.
• Investigate battery material recycling and resource circularity.
• Research rare-earth materials and battery manufacturing processes.
• Utilize Agile methodologies for research initiatives.
• Manage project schedules, resources, budgets, and research direction.
• Communicate new research concepts and technical findings to engineering teams and management.
• Collaborate with internal and external technical partners.
