Job summary

LER TechForce, LLC. seeks a Project Engineer in Liberty, NC to support client initiatives. You will define and manage project KPIs and milestones, coordinate pre-production trials, and collaborate with multiple internal teams and the client’s Battery Manufacturing group in North Carolina.

The role requires 5+ years in a project-related field, proficiency in MS Office, and willingness to travel up to 10%. You’ll contribute to scheduling, reporting, and problem-solving across departments to ensure

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher or 5+ years equivalent professional work experience in a project-related role.
• PM experience with capital investments greater than $0.5M.
• Experience setting, managing, visualizing, and reporting KPIs for leadership.
• Experience creating and maintaining detailed schedules with milestones.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to travel up to 10% (domestic and international).
• Willingness to work weekends/holidays/shutdown periods as needed, including evenings with Japan.
• Typical work hours 8-5 PM.

Responsibilities

• Define and report overall project KPIs and milestones using the Battery Master Operation Plan (OP).
• Coordinate new model launch activities across divisions and companies (domestic and international).
• Lead cross-functional problem solving to prevent recurrence and ensure launch success.
• Develop standard reporting structures and outputs for KPI and milestone reporting.
• Support construction and pre-production trial activities, coordinating parts orders and schedules.
• Contribute to standardization through feedback to Master OP and develop countermeasures.
