Job summary

Base Power Company in Austin, TX is seeking Production Associates to join our manufacturing team. You will be on the front line of building our battery storage systems, performing mechanical assembly, following SOPs, and ensuring quality across units.

This hands-on, safety‑driven role requires reliability and the ability to lift 50–70 lbs, with opportunities for growth as Base scales its cutting‑edge energy storage products.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or assembly environments preferred; high school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift 50–70 lbs as part of a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable, punctual and able to keep production lines moving with minimal supervision.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• A collaborative mindset and willingness to learn and grow with the company.

Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery and equipment safely to ensure consistent output.
• Assemble battery systems and sub-assemblies on the line, following BOMs and SOPs.
• Perform visual inspections and identify defects to maintain quality.
• Load/unload materials, assist with kitting and organize components for workflow.
• Maintain a clean, safe workstation and comply with 5S and PPE requirements.
• Suggest process improvement ideas and communicate with the team.
• Be flexible with shifts and overtime to support growth.
