Base is building a new manufacturing floor in Texas and seeks a Production Supervisor to guide a growing team of Production Associates. You’ll establish culture, safety, and quality, and partner with engineering and warehouse to meet ramp targets.

This leadership role emphasizes Lean, 5S, and root-cause analysis, with opportunities to shape processes, training, and daily improvements. The role requires hands-on supervision and willingness to work flexible hours to support production milestones.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Production Supervisor in a manufacturing, assembly, or warehouse environment.
• Ramp Mindset: experience scaling a production line or working in a high-growth environment.
• Culture Builder: approachable, patient, and able to motivate a team to hit targets.
• Methodology: Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or 5S concepts.
• Adaptability: thrives in a startup environment; willing to work flexible hours or weekends if needed to support milestones.

Responsibilities

• Support Your Team: Create a positive, safe, and productive work environment.
• Set the Tone: Model the Base Pace—efficient, purposeful, safety-first.
• Communication: be the link between floor and management and relay feedback.
• Maintain Standards: ensure every product meets quality specifications.
• Root Cause Analysis: lead investigations to prevent defects and improve throughput.
• Organize (5S): maintain clean, organized workspace for high output.
• Maximize Throughput: hit daily and weekly production targets and optimize resources.
• Execute the Ramp: align with leadership to scale production volumes smoothly.
• Continuous Improvement: shave cycle times and reduce waste using Lean principles.
• Onboarding & Mentorship: train and certify new Production Associates.
• Safety Stewardship: collaborate with EHS on audits and JHA.
• Operations Management: handle time-card approvals, scheduling, and resource planning with Warehouse.
