Job summary

Ford Motor Company’s Energy Aftersales Organization seeks a Project Manager, Product Delivery to lead the post-contract delivery of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) from signing to commissioning, as a principal contributor who will shape delivery playbooks and stage-gate controls.

You will drive standardized PMO processes, manage risk and schedule, coordinate with Sales, Service, Engineering and EPC partners, and mentor engineers across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Construction management or related.
• 10+ years of program management, project delivery, or PMO experience with large-scale utility/infrastructure/energy deployments.
• Execution-focused with EPC workflows, contract management, and post-contract delivery.
• Ability to influence and drive consensus across matrixed teams without direct authority.

Responsibilities

• Delivery Process Execution: apply standardized post-contract delivery processes and stage-gate reviews for BESS projects.
• Portfolio Health: track KPIs for project health, delivery efficiency, and financial performance.
• Tools & Systems: use advanced program management tools and provide feedback for improved execution.
• Direct Delivery: own execution, timeline, and commissioning of major BESS deployments.
• Risk Mitigation: perform risk analyses and coordinate cross-functional interventions.
• Technical & Operational Alignment: serve as the interface between Sales, Service, Engineering, Finance and EPC contractors.
• Primary Escalation Contact: act as the main operational contact for customers and senior leadership during deployment.
• Contractual Coordination: resolve complex scheduling and coordination issues with partners.
• Peer Mentorship: guide and mentor other project specialists and engineers.
