Stellantis is seeking a Battery Pack Development Engineer to design innovative BEV battery pack concepts and integrate them into future vehicle programs. You will coordinate simulations, prototype builds, and testing across module, pack, and vehicle levels, while leading cross-functional teams to meet TRL milestones.
The role emphasizes strong problem-solving, independent work, and effective communication with upper management, as Stellantis advances range, power, safety, and fast-charging
The Battery Pack Development Engineer is responsible for developing innovative BEV battery pack technologies for future integration into Stellantis vehicle programs. These new technologies and systems will enable the next generation of range, power, safety, and fast charge capability for Stellantis vehicles. The Battery Pack Development Engineer will generate new design concepts for the structure and thermal management around our battery cells. Job responsibilities include hardware design, coordination of simulations and analysis, coordination of prototype builds (module, pack, and vehicle level), execution of test plans for proof-of-concept, conducting risk analyses, and building a business case for future vehicle implementation. The Battery Pack Development Engineer may operate as a project leader, coordinating the activities of a cross‑functional team, and establishing goals/timelines to deliver new technologies through the Technology Readiness Level process.
