Job summary

American Lithium Energy Corporation is seeking a Battery Pack Assembly Operations Manager to lead the pack assembly on the manufacturing floor, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery while scaling production to meet growing demand.

You will own processes from prototype through ramp, drive capacity and equipment plans, enforce AS9100D, and mentor pack assembly leads and technicians in a fast-growing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of manufacturing experience with 5+ years in battery module/pack leadership.
• Experience leading pack assembly, NPI/industrialization, ramp, and teams.
• Hands-on knowledge of Li‑ion pack architecture, assembly equipment, welding, BMS integration, thermal management.
• Knowledge of AS9100 requirements, documentation, traceability, audits, and structured quality systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily battery pack assembly operations and production schedules.
• Own pack manufacturing processes including cell prep, module/pack assembly, wiring, and final assembly.
• Lead NPI/industrialization from prototype to ramp and production readiness.
• Develop capacity, staffing, and equipment to support demand and growth.
• Define and improve assembly equipment, fixtures, and tooling; support qualification and handover.
• Ensure AS9100D compliance, configuration/change control, traceability, and CAPA.
• Drive quality through FPY, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Enforce EHS standards for lithium-ion batteries and high-voltage systems.
• Implement Lean practices (5S, visual management, line balancing, poka-yoke).
• Develop and mentor Pack Assembly leads, technicians, and operators; establish certification requirements.
