Job summary

The Battery Assembler at Lithion Battery reports to the Production Manager and assembles lithium-ion cells, aligns connectors, glues covers, and conducts lid assembly. You will operate assembly equipment, follow SOPs, and ensure quality in a 6S manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in warehouse/manufacturing environment preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Basic knowledge of computers and software.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Collaborative team player with great problem-solving skills.
• Awareness of quality systems and the ability to follow processes.

Responsibilities

• Performs assigned product manufacturing tasks while operating a variety of machines and becoming familiar with all operational requirements.
• Follows work instructions and SOPs given by your team lead.
• Understands and applies FIFO principles.
• Analyzes workloads and multitasks efficiently.
• Optimizes production efficiency by adjusting machinery and equipment settings as needed.
• Maintains a safe, tidy, and compliant 6S work environment.
• Maintains high attention to detail in department workflows.
• Complies with internal policies and industry regulations.
• Maintains excellent communication with co-workers, both written and verbal.
• Works independently, asking questions when needed.
• Performs other duties outside their scope of work as assigned.
