General Motors in Warren, MI seeks a Mechanical/Automotive engineer to ensure designs meet manufacturability, cost, quality, and timing targets. You will drive MR development, support DRE and SQE activities, and lead cross-functional workgroups with Manufacturing and Product Engineering.

The role requires strong DFMEA/PFMEA awareness, system-level analyses, and experience with GD&T. Expect 10% domestic travel and a hybrid schedule: 3 days in-office, 2 days remote.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in engineering with related field experience.
• Experience integrating DFMEA and PFMEA; strong manufacturing input.
• Proven ability to evaluate complex system analyses and drive design for automation.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure engineered designs are manufacturable within cost, quality, and timing targets.
• Lead workgroups with Manufacturing and Product Engineering to resolve issues.
• Develop and implement Manufacturing Requirements (MRs) in product designs.
• Support DREs, SQEs, PMTs, PDTs, and cross-functional meetings.
