Job summary

Sunlight Batteries USA is seeking a reliable Battery Formation Operator to operate and monitor charge equipment, ensuring proper conditioning and testing per specifications. The role emphasizes safety, data recording, and adherence to SOPs in a high-volume plant environment.

You will work weekend shifts, collaborate with Maintenance, Quality, and Engineering, and contribute to continuous improvement by identifying process deviations and reporting them promptly.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Ability to read and follow SOPs and work instructions.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and monitoring systems.
• Strong commitment to safety and quality in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and maintain battery formation and charging equipment to meet production specs.
• Monitor charging cycles, voltages, temperatures, and process parameters.
• Perform routine equipment inspections and address safety or quality concerns.
• Record production data and equipment performance accurately.
• Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and escalate as needed.
• Assist with changeovers and adjustments to support throughput goals.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area following 5S standards.
• Collaborate with teams across Production, Maintenance, Quality and Engineering.
