The Opportunity:
Factorial is seeking a Senior/Staff/Principal Battery Engineer responsible for EV large cell development with new lithium-ion battery technology. The successful candidate will focus on cell engineering and development for next-generation cells in Woburn, Massachusetts. Candidates should have extensive experience in lithium-ion cell product and process development for EV batteries, specifically at the large cell level (not material development, not module/system engineering, not ESS). The role involves technical support for operations and R&D teams, with cell-level analysis, pilot-scale sample process development, and collaboration on market research. Excellent communication skills are essential to liaise effectively across departments. The position reports to the Sr. Director, Cell Engineering division.
