The Opportunity:Factorial is looking for a Senior/Staff/Principal Battery Engineer who will be responsible for EV large cell development with new lithium-ion battery technology for next generation cell technology. The successful candidate will take a cell engineering and development role to join its team in Woburn, Massachusetts. This role requires extensive experience in lithium-ion cell product and process development engineering at a large cell level for EV battery applications (not material development, not module/system engineer, not ESS). The candidate should be focused on EV battery cell design and development. This role includes technical support for operation and R&D teams, with technical cell level analysis. The candidate will also possess pilot scale sample process development to collaborate with R&D projects. In addition, this role will be closely involved in market research and must demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills to facilitate exchanges between various departments within the company in product design. This position will report to the Sr. Director, Cell Engineering division.
