Job summary

Barton Malow is seeking a Project Manager for a Battery Energy Storage Systems project in Newport, MI. This role requires full-time on-site leadership, travel readiness, and close collaboration with the client, design team, and trade partners to deliver safely on schedule and within budget.

You will manage scope, schedule, cost, procurement, risk, and quality, develop recovery strategies, and communicate progress to stakeholders while ensuring contractual compliance and site safety at all times.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, business, or related field.
8+ years of industrial construction and energy experience.
Experience managing budgets, schedules, procurement, and contracts.
Strong leadership, communication, and risk management skills.

Responsibilities

Provide leadership for the project team and establish priorities and expectations.
Develop and execute plans for scope, schedule, budget, procurement, and risk.
Manage subcontractor/vendor contracts and change management processes.
Maintain project baseline schedule and monitor progress and risks.
Coordinate with field leadership to align site activities with the schedule.
Lead project meetings and ensure action items are followed up.
