Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Battery Responsible Engineer for Electrical Power Systems to contribute to the New Glenn program. This role involves developing and qualifying avionic hardware, focusing on Li-Ion batteries and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

The successful candidate will collaborate closely with multi-functional teams, manage system design documentation, and support testing and integration activities. Candidates must possess a strong engineering background and a passion for safe human spaceflight.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of direct experience in battery development.
• 3+ years in space applications preferred.
• Familiarity with lithium-ion batteries and test methods.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a full system design and documentation.
