Job summary

Colonial Group in Rural Hall, NC is seeking a maintenance assistant to keep batteries and production equipment in good working order. The role focuses on preventive maintenance of tape machines, dock doors, and dock plates, plus supporting mechanics and safety protocols.

You will follow safety rules, operate lift equipment with proper licensing, manage waste and housekeeping, and report issues to DC Management while learning the distribution/production environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Read, write, do basic math, and understand implied instructions.
• Regular attendance is required.
• General mechanical aptitude and knowledge of hand tools.
• Understanding battery maintenance and techniques.
• Ability to learn distribution/production business.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities
