Job summary

Anthro Energy is seeking a Quality Technician to support QC testing and validation of battery cells and electrolyte components. You will work hands-on with battery materials, assembly processes, and testing to ensure product quality and performance. This role supports internal milestones and external customer projects.

The candidate will collect data, run tests, and document results for engineers and scientists, while following safety protocols and maintaining a clean lab environment.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 0–2 years in a laboratory setting; relevant technical experience considered.
• Hands-on experience measuring and handling chemicals in small quantities.
• Familiarity with safe handling of battery materials and lab safety protocols.

About the Job

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Technician to support the QC testing, and validation of battery cells and electrolyte components. The ideal candidate will work hands-on with battery materials, assembly processes, and testing to ensure product quality and performance. This role is critical for Anthro to deliver on our internal technical milestones and external customer projects.

What you will do

• Conduct routine tool PM and Calibration process.
• Collect QC data for electrolyte and cell components
• Handle battery materials, cells, and electrolytes while maintaining safety protocols.
• Safely operate lab equipment such as cell testers, cyclers, and environmental chambers.
• Collect and document test data, generating reports for engineering and R&D teams.
• Work closely with engineers and scientists to optimize quality performance and process quality.
• Follow safety guidelines for handling lithium-ion and other battery chemistries.
• Maintain lab cleanliness and ensure proper disposal of hazardous materials.
• Maintain inventory of chemicals and cell components

Requirements

• Education: HS Diploma or GED
• Experience: 0-2 years of experience in a laboratory setting. Relevant technical experience may be considered in place of direct battery experience.
• Technical Skills:
  • Hands-on experience measuring and handling chemicals in small, precise quantities
  • Experience using gloveboxes and pipettes
  • Familiarity with assembling fixtures and running tests on analytical equipment
• Soft Skills:
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work in a team and follow technical instructions.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills for reporting and documentation.
• Other Requirements:
  • Ability to lift, squat, kneel, use step ladders, manipulate hand, and power tools.
