Job summary

Skillframe AI seeks a Manufacturing Process Engineer to design and document end-to-end battery module and pack assembly processes. You will codify standard work, select and validate tooling, and train teams to ensure repeatable, safe production.

You will lead process improvements, support ramp-ups and new variant launches, and apply CAPA and poka-yoke to reduce defects while improving yield and efficiency on the line.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and documenting manufacturing processes for battery modules/pack assembly.
• Ability to codify processes into standard work with revisions and changes.
• Experience specifying and evaluating tools, fixtures and inspection equipment.
• Focus on EHS compliance, safety, and ergonomic risk reduction on the line.
• Proven track record delivering yield, cycle time, and scrap reductions using lean methods.

Responsibilities

• Engineer end-to-end assembly processes for battery modules and packs.
• Create standard work instructions linked to drawings, BOMs, and revisions.
• Specify and validate tools, fixtures, and inspection equipment for the line.
• Support ramp-up, volume changes, and new variant introductions with corrective actions.
• Define in-process checks, poka-yoke, and CAPA-driven improvements.
• Bridge design to manufacturability with engineering changes and pilot builds.
• Drive continuous improvement to improve yield, cycle time, and waste.
• Ensure safe work practices and ergonomics; maintain process metrics.
