Job summary

ASAHI BEER USA | OCTOPI BREWING in Madison, WI is seeking a Batching Team Brewer to measure, weigh, and combine ingredients for beer, seltzers, RTDs, and sodas with precision. This hands-on role anchors the production of every batch on a state-of-the-art facility.

You will operate all batching equipment, follow recipes, coordinate with Cellar/Inventory, and ensure QA checks flow smoothly across shifts. Full-time, non-exempt with growth opportunities through the Brewer Career Matrix.

Qualifications

• Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting 55 lbs / moving 165 lbs as needed.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management.
• Flexibility in working hours.

Responsibilities

• Learn and operate all associated batching equipment, including CIP and manual cleaning of equipment and piping.
• Follow recipes and production steps with precision, weighing, measuring, and handling ingredients and additives.
• Prepare and add flavorings, additives, and other ingredients accurately across our full range of products.
• Communicate and coordinate with Cellar, Inventory, and Scheduling teams to ensure products are completed efficiently and on time.
• Keep batching documentation accurate and complete, and perform pre-batching quality checks.
• Produce in-spec product every time, following safety protocols and SOPs.
