Job summary

Octopi Brewing in Madison, WI is seeking a Batching Team Brewer to measure, weigh and combine ingredients for beer, seltzers, RTDs and sodas, following recipes with precision on our production floor.

This full-time role offers growth through our Brewer Career Matrix, opportunities across all products, and collaboration with Cellar, Inventory, and Scheduling teams in a state-of-the-art facility.

Qualifications

• Must-haves: Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting 55 lbs / moving 165 lbs as needed.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management.
• Flexibility in working hours.

Responsibilities

• Learn and operate all batching equipment, including CIP and manual cleaning of equipment and piping.
• Follow recipes and production steps with precision, weighing, measuring, and handling ingredients and additives.
• Prepare and add flavorings, additives, and other ingredients across our full range of products; coordinate with Cellar, Inventory, and Scheduling teams to ensure on-time completion.
• Keep batching documentation accurate and complete, and perform pre-batching quality checks.
• Produce in-spec product every time, following safety protocols and SOPs.
