Job summary

Monster Energy is seeking a Lead, Batcher to direct daily batching operations in our California beverage production facility. You will manage sanitation, batching, and equipment to meet safety, quality, and production goals, following GMP/HACCP standards.

The role requires 3–5 years in beverage production, 1–3 years in batching with FDA regulatory exposure, and strong Office Suite skills. This is an on-site, full-time position with competitive hourly compensation.

Qualifications

A Day In The Life

In the position of Lead, Batcher you will be responsible for directing and managing daily operations to ensure processes meet established safety, quality, and production goals in compliance with all food safety requirements from raw material staging, through kitting, batching, through the micro-blend to the filler. Ensure the blends of raw material to create a beverage product are to the exact specifications provided.

The Impact You'll Make

• Manage and direct activities of the sanitation, and batching departments, ensuring product adheres to standards of safety, quality, and meeting production schedules. Verify all batching equipment meets the sanitary condition directed by the company requirements, including allergen control surface swabs--Adenosine TriPhosphate (ATP) swab results.
• Test chemical concentrations and tear down and wash the processing and batching tanks and associated equipment. Responsible for daily cleaning of equipment including clean-in-place (CIP) of all tanks, maintain good housekeeping throughout the area.
• Must ensure consistent and accurate measurements and blending to ensure continuous product supply to filling equipment. Perform routine tests to affirm final mixture meets itemized properties and consistencies in addition to tests for batch temperatures requirements.
• Analyze reports for batching yields, enterprise resource planning (ERP) system accuracy, raw material lot management, system processes, and quality checks.
• Recommend and help in the implementation of measures to improve production batching methods, equipment performance, and quality of product, and reduce raw material/product waste. Collaborate with maintenance and plant leadership on process improvements.
• Develop, train and ensure team members follow all Standard Operations Procedures (SOPs) in compliance with guideline principles and adhere to all requirements to protect the integrity of the process and product. Work in compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) expectations.
• Operation of blenders and programmable logic controller (PLC) controlled agitation and transfer after the product has been released by QC.
• Interface with multiple departments within the organization to ensure customer deadlines are met-->> Develop, train and ensure team members follow all Standard Operations Procedures (SOPs) in compliance with guideline principles and adhere to all requirements to protect the integrity of the process and product. Work in compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) expectations.

Who You Are

• Prefer a Bachelor's Degree in the field of Food Safety/Manufacturing
• Additional Experience Desired: Between 3-5 years of experience in beverage production facility
• Additional Experience Desired: Between 1-3 years of experience in batcher or technician with FDA Regulatory environment
• Computer Skills Desired: Must have minimum skills with Office Suite/PC
• Preferred Certifications: N/A
• Additional Knowledge or Skills to be Successful in this role: Must show basic knowledge of the English language

Monster Energy provides competitive total compensation. The estimated hourly pay range for this position is listed below. Actual compensation may vary based on skills, qualifications, experience, and work location.

Pay Range

$23 - $30 USD
