Job summary

BroadBean is seeking a manufacturing associate to manage direct labor for mixing and packaging activities. The role involves staging raw materials, keeping the work areas clean, and communicating low material levels to supervision.

You will develop expertise in batch making and packaging processes while coordinating with Quality Control to ensure safety and quality. The position requires basic computer use, ability to operate scanners, and willingness to train on multiple lines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• College chemistry coursework preferred.

Responsibilities

• Stage and prepare all raw materials for production batches.
• Maintain clean and organized batch making and packaging areas.
• Notify supervision when raw materials are low.
• Develop working knowledge of batch making and packaging processes.
• Maintain good relations with Quality Control.
• Structure batch processes and optimize switchover sequences.
• Report spills, leaks, malfunctions, hazards, and shortages to supervisor.
• Operate packaging equipment and use scanner and basic computer systems.
• During downtime, assist on assigned line for training or operation.
• Assist in hazardous waste handling under management guidance.
