Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure is seeking a Batch Plant Operator to run the batch plant and ensure safe, accurate concrete production at our Texas facility. The role emphasizes hands-on operation in an industrial setting with attention to quality and efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have related industry experience and be capable of operating cranes, forklifts, and weighing materials for mix while maintaining clean, safe workspaces. This is a full-time production position with competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic math skills and ability to read measurements.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs periodically.
• Good communication with team members.

Responsibilities

• Dump mix from tub into pour bucket.
• Place concrete in forms via overhead crane operation.
• Operate a forklift/loader.
• Weigh materials for mix, operate mixer, and deliver mix timely.
• Maintain housekeeping and quality standards.
• Other duties as assigned as needed.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate in this role will perform a wide range of duties in an industrial manufacturing environment. This individual will work to operate the batch plant and place concrete safely and accurately to maintain efficient and quality production.

Job Responsibilities

• Dump mix from tubinto pour bucket
• Placement of concrete in forms via overhead crane operation
• Operate a forklift / loader
• Properly weigh materials for mix, operate mixer and deliver mix in a timely manner
• Maintain housekeeping and quality standards
• Other responsibilities may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed

Job Requirements

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
• At least 1 year experience in related industry preferred
• Overhead crane experience preferred
• Ability to perform basic mathematical skills such as reading fractions and a tape measure
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs periodically throughout the day
• Able to communicate effectively with team members
