Job summary

the company in Clay, NY is seeking a Batch Plant Coordinator to oversee concrete batch plant operations for the project. You will manage setup, production scheduling, raw material inventory, equipment maintenance coordination and quality control.

Reporting to the Concrete Manager, you will collaborate with field engineers, subcontractors and procurement to meet project objectives while upholding Safety as a value. rel/ LM1

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) required.
  • 5–8 years relevant experience or 9–12 years experience.
  • Experience with concrete batch plant operations highly preferred.

Project Overview:

the company's Manufacturing and Technology (M&T) Business Unit is designing, building and commissioning a semiconductor fab in Clay, NY. Job Summary:

In this role, you will oversee batch plant operations supporting project concrete construction. Responsibilities include batch plant setup, concrete production, production scheduling, raw material inventory management, equipment maintenance coordination, quality control processes, and aggregate receiving and conveying operations.

The Batch Plant Coordinator reports to the Concrete Manager and works closely with the Lead Concrete Superintendent, Lead Concrete Field Engineer, subcontractors, Procurement, Safety, Environmental, and construction teams to support project objectives.Responsible for ensuring batch plant production capacity, material availability, and operational readiness are maintained to support project concrete placement activities. Safety is a Value and is expected to be integrated into every aspect of planning and execution. #LI-LM1

Major Responsibilities:

Oversight for batch plant setup(s), commissioning, operation, maintenance, and production activities.

  • Establishes and maintains production schedules, aggregate deliveries, and material handling activities to support project concrete demands.
  • Coordinates aggregate unloading and operations systems, material storage areas, and associated equipment.
  • Coordinates inventory control, material deliveries, and consumption tracking for concrete raw materials and associated consumables.
  • Monitors production performance, equipment utilization, maintenance activities, and operational efficiency.
  • Ensures compliance with approved mix designs, batching procedures, quality requirements, batch testing programs, and production specifications.
  • Coordinates suppliers, vendors, subcontractors, and support personnel associated with batch plant operations.
  • Ensures compliance with Project Environmental, Safety & Health requirements, permits, and standards while promoting the philosophy that Safety is a Value.
  • Interfaces with construction, engineering, procurement, safety, and environmental to support concrete production requirements.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Required bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 5-8 years of relevant experience or 9-12 years of relevant work experience Experience with concrete batch plant operations greatly preferred.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Batch Plant Operations: Knowledge of batch plant setup, production operations, raw material handling and hauling systems, equipment utilization, and maintenance requirements. Concrete Materials and Production: Working knowledge of concrete materials, mix designs, batching procedures, quality control processes, and production requirements. Production Planning and Inventory Management: Experience incorporating production schedules, material forecasting, inventory management, and production capacity requirements. Quality and Regulatory Compliance: Knowledge of testing programs, calibration requirements, production documentation, environmental requirements, and applicable industry standards. Safety, Environmental, and Operational Compliance: Demonstrated ability to promote Safety as a Value while ensuring compliance with Environmental, Safety & Health requirements, environmental permits, operational procedures, and project standards.
