Job summary

Rust-Oleum Corporation in Wisconsin is seeking a Batch Maker to produce paint and related products by setting up, operating, and tending machines to mix materials.

You will follow batch work instructions, monitor equipment, and ensure batches meet quality standards. The role requires physical ability to lift 50–100 lbs and forklift operation. This is a full-time on-site position with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of production experience.
• Able to read batch tickets and prepare labels; basic math.
• Able to operate high-speed dispersers and related equipment.
• Ability to lift 50–100 pounds; read digital scales and flow meters.
• Experience operating a forklift.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and tend machines to mix materials according to batch work instructions.
• Load raw materials into process tanks and ensure quality batches.
• Monitor dispersers, mixers, pumps, meters and adjust as needed.
• Coordinate with floor supervisor on batch ordering and materials.
• Maintain 5S standards; keep area clean and organized.
• Support other departments as needed and assist with sample batches.
• Ensure a safe work area and communicate spills or hazards to supervision.
• Assist with dust collector maintenance when required.
