Job summary

Richard's Paint is seeking a Batch Maker to manufacture paint and coating products per formulas and batch tickets. You will operate mixing equipment, handle raw materials, monitor processes, and ensure product quality and safety standards.

The role requires attention to detail, adherence to SOPs, and the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment with physical tasks and safety training. Forklift and material-handling duties may be required.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Manufacturing/production/chemical processing/paint manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Forklift operation experience preferred.
  • Company-provided training includes forklift operation, chemical handling, respirator use, and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Review batch tickets, formulas, and production schedules.
  • Weigh and measure raw materials according to batch requirements.
  • Load ingredients into mixing and processing equipment.
  • Operate mixers, dispersers, tanks, pumps and related equipment.
  • Adjust settings to meet product specifications.
  • Monitor progress and record production data accurately.
  • Conduct in-process quality checks with QC as needed.
  • Ensure finished products meet quality, color, viscosity and performance standards.
  • Maintain clean, organized production area and follow safety SOPs.
