Job summary

Rust-Oleum is seeking a production operator to produce intermediates and finished products by following batch formulas in a paint manufacturing facility. You will weigh materials, operate blending and grinding equipment, and ensure adherence to established quality procedures and batch tickets.

No prior experience is required, though manufacturing/filling-area experience is preferred. You will support QC sampling, record results, and keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety

Qualifications

• No previous experience required.
• Experience in Manufacturing, Filling Area strongly preferred.
• Good math/measurement skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Must achieve required color testing score.

Responsibilities

• Weigh and measure solvents, resins, pigments, and additives into blending tanks per batch ticket.
• Tend mixing or grinding equipment and control time, heat, and speed.
• Take product samples to QC Lab for checks.
• Check production batches by comparison to standards.
• Make adjustments to batch as necessary.
• Recheck batch after adjustments until within standards.
• Record results on batch card.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.
• Maintain a neat and orderly work area.
