Responsibilities

• Direct activities of one or more workers who assist in preparing and serving meals
• Cook meals in quantities according to menu and number of portions to be served, including batch cooking
• Wash and sanitize dishes and cooking equipment
• Bake breads and pastries
• Clean, cut, and prepare meat, poultry, and fish
• Ensure that all individuals and groups receive a meal
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness at all times, including sweeping and mopping of floors
• Prepare and provide the ingredients or supplies required for catering events
• Train and coach new and current employees
• All other duties as assigned
