Job summary

The Minnesota Timberwolves are seeking a Seasonal Social Media Assistant to support PackOffCourt’s digital and community-focused social media efforts, with a primary focus on tagging, GIF creation, and asset management from games and events. This part-time role requires 1–2 years in social media or related fields; photography and videography skills are preferred.

It includes game-night shifts and some office hours, with no travel.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in social media, digital media, sports, entertainment or marketing.
• Photography and/or videography skills preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day admin needs of the Social Media team including tagging via Zoomph, GIF assets via GIPHY, and content from games and events.
• Ideate, shoot and edit content for the PackOffCourt social media account.
• Collaborate with Community Impact, Partnerships, and Social Media teams to identify storytelling opportunities.
• Maintain a consistent voice, tone, and visual identity across PackOffCourt platforms.
• Assist with maintaining PackOffCourt content calendars.
• Attend Timberwolves games and events to capture social-first content.
• Capture social-first photo and video content that is authentic and timely.
