Job summary

Associated Recreation Council (ARC) seeks a Basketball Scorer/Timer for Central Seattle community centers during the 2026-2027 season. This seasonal, part-time role begins December 2026 with a schedule of Friday evenings and Saturdays, at Garfield Community Center, Miller Community Center, and Montlake Community Center.

You’ll keep time and score with accuracy, regulate playing time, and foster a welcoming, inclusive environment for all participants.

Qualifications

• Have fundamental knowledge of basketball and its rules.
• Experience or interest in working with kids.
• Must pass a criminal background check.

If you have a fundamental knowledge of and passion for the sport of basketball, Associated Recreation Council (ARC) has a role for you as Basketball Scorer/Timer at various community centers in Central Seattle. This is a seasonal part-time role estimated to begin December 2026. There are multiple opportunities to extend.ARC, in partnership with Seattle Parks and Recreation, serves Seattle by offering access to licensed childcare and a variety of recreational and lifelong learning programs, classes, and activities.
