Associated Recreation Council (ARC) is seeking Basketball Officials/Referees for the 2026-2027 season at Central Seattle community centers, including Garfield, Miller, and Montlake. This is a seasonal, part-time role beginning December 2026, with games running January 9 to March 21, 2027, on Friday evenings and Saturdays.

Officiating youth basketball with fairness, creating safe and inclusive environments, and passing a background check are required.

• Have fundamental knowledge of basketball and its rules.
• Experience or interest in working with kids.
• Must pass a criminal background check.

If you have a fundamental knowledge of and passion for the sport of basketball, Associated Recreation Council (ARC) has a role for you as Basketball Official/Referee at various community centers in Central Seattle. This is a seasonal part-time role estimated to begin December 2026. There are multiple opportunities to extend.ARC, in partnership with Seattle Parks and Recreation, serves Seattle by offering access to licensed childcare and a variety of recreational and lifelong learning programs, classes, and activities.
