Job summary

Excel Sports Management in West Hollywood is offering a paid Basketball Sales Intern position for Fall 2026. The program is hybrid, with about 3 in-office days per week and interns must work 24–29.9 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Be available to work under 30 hours per week.
• Be available to report to the West Hollywood Office approximately 3-days a week.
• Have a senior standing in college (must have completed your junior year of undergrad) or be enrolled in graduate school or have a bachelor’s/postgraduate degree.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Sales/Partnership team in evaluating new sponsorship opportunities.
• Assist the Sales/Partnership team to manage and update company database & CRM.
• Identify new prospective companies for partnerships with ESM talent and share rationale with team.
• Develop and provide detailed briefs on companies for prospective sales calls.
• Support product requests by clients through value-in-kind partnerships.
• Routinely contribute to expanding partnership team’s sales strategies.
• Stay up to date with sponsorship news and trends across all sports.
• Collaborate on creative marketing ideas to support sales outreach.
• Learn the full sales cycle for athlete endorsements.
• Have access to the Excel team for industry advice and learnings.
• May occasionally be assigned projects outside the partnerships group.
