Excel Sports Management, LLC. seeks an Intern in West Hollywood to contribute to the Football Sales team while gaining exposure to multiple divisions.

The internship is a paid, hybrid program with in-office experience about three days per week and requires student eligibility and reliable transportation. Interns work 24–29.9 hours weekly during the session, with hours from 9:00 am to 6:00 PM PT, and the Spring program runs Jan 11, 2027 to May 6, 2027.

Qualifications

• Must be available to work under 30 hours per week.
• Able to report to the West Hollywood Office about 3 days a week.
• Senior standing in college (completed junior year) or enrolled in graduate school; or have bachelor's/postgraduate degree.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Football Sales department with short- and long-term projects for NFL and college football talent.
• Help identify new business opportunities and support sales from research to deal execution.
• Source brand prospects and analyze priorities, campaigns and current activities.
• Build and update prospect lists for NFL and college football talent.
• Develop partnership concepts and activation ideas aligned with brand priorities and football calendar.
• Prepare research, talent materials, agendas, and presentations for sales meetings.
• Provide organizational support on active deals by tracking timelines and approvals.

Our Intern program is a paid opportunity that allows participants to contribute to the organization’s success while at the same time applying learnings from the classroom. This semester we will continue with a hybrid program and will offer each participant the opportunity to gain in‑office experience for approximately 3‑days a week. Interns are responsible for their individual transportation and housing needs.

• All Intern are expected to work 24-29.9 hours a week during the session. While each Intern will be working with a specific division, they will have the opportunity to learn about other areas within Excel, through lunch and learns held throughout the semester.
• Our SpringProgram runs from Monday, January 11 th , 2027, through Thursday, May 6 th , 2027.

Office Hours:

• 9:00 am‐6:00 PM PT, Monday-Friday OR as agreed upon with advisor. Days in office must be coordinated with Advisor’s schedules.

Our Interns must:

• Be available to work under 30 hours per week.
• Be available to report to the West Hollywood Office approximately 3-days a week.
• Have a senior standing in college (must have completed your junior year of undergrad)

OR

• Be enrolled in a graduate school

OR

• Have a bachelor’s or postgraduate degree.

Interview Process:

• Applications will close on November 20th , 2026.
• If selected, the expectation is that offers will be extended by early December.
• The program will begin on January 11 th , 2027.

Football Sales Intern Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist the Football Sales department with short- and long-term projects supporting sales and marketing opportunities for NFL and college football talent. This role will help identify new business opportunities and support sales efforts from early research and planning through deal execution
• Source brand prospects and analyze their priorities, categories, and current campaigns
• Build and update prospect lists for NFL and college football talent
• Develop partnership concepts and activation ideas based on brand priorities and the football calendar
• Prepare research, talent materials, agendas, and presentations for sales meetings
• Provide organizational support on active deals by tracking timelines, deliverables, approvals, and next steps
• Will gain exposure to all Excel divisions and functions
• Will develop skills necessary to maintain a business environment
• Will compile bi-monthly learnings and share with the HR team
• Will have access to the Excel team for industry advice and learnings
• May occasionally be assigned projects outside the Football group to gain exposure to other divisions within Excel

The pay range for this position is between $20.94 per hour, dependent on work location. Please note that the foregoing compensation information is a good‑faith assessment associated with this position only and is provided pursuant to the California and New York City Salary Transparency Law.
