Finalsite is inviting applications for a Basic Skills Instruction (BSI) Teacher – Math/ELA in New Jersey for the 2026–2027 school year. The ideal candidate holds a NJ Elementary K–6 certificate or equivalent and will plan targeted, small-group interventions in math and ELA, using data to guide instruction and progress monitoring.

Preferred credentials include additional Math/ELA certifications and NJ Reading/Math (K–8) certification.

Qualifikationen

• NJ Elementary School Teacher K–6 certification or other NJ instructional certification required.
• Preferred additional certification in Mathematics and/or ELA.
• Preferred NJ Reading/Math (K–8) certification.

Preferred- Additional certification in Mathematics and/or English Language Arts or Middle School Subject Matter Specialization in Mathematics and/or English Language Arts/Literacy

Preferred- New Jersey Teacher of Supplemental Instruction in Reading and Mathematics (Grades K–8) certification preferred

Preferred- Experience in Basic Skills Instruction, mathematics and/or ELA intervention, and/or small-group academic support

Anticipated opening for the 2026–2027 school year

The successful candidate will possess:

• Strong knowledge of elementary mathematics and English Language Arts (ELA) instruction, particularly in
• Ability to plan and deliver targeted, differentiated mathematics and ELA interventions through small-group, push-in, and/or pull-out models
• Skill in using mathematics and ELA assessment data to identify needs, design interventions, and monitor student progress
• Ability to collaborate effective with classroom teachers, administrators, and families
• Familiarity with New Jersey Student Learning Standards in mathematics and ELA and evidence-based instructional practices
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

Salary: Per negotiated local RBEA agreement
