Job summary

ExxonMobil is seeking a technical specialist to provide support and guidance on Basestock and Intermediates products. You will interact with sales, customers, and internal labs to qualify products for new or existing applications.

Required are a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry and 3+ years in Basestock/Intermediates development, with strong communication and cross-functional collaboration. Location is Baytown/Houston area, TX.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or similar.
• Minimum 3+ years of technical experience in Basestock or Intermediates applications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and advice on product fitness for use to customers and sales teams.
• Interact with labs and manufacturing to qualify ExxonMobil Basestock or Intermediates products.
• Develop and deliver technical training and papers for internal/external audiences.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Sales and Technology to build knowledge across sectors.
