Job summary

Panelmatic, Inc. seeks a Base Welding & Paint Quality Inspector to verify bases for e-houses and electrical enclosures against drawings, weld requirements, tolerances, materials, surface prep, and paint specs.

You will inspect fabrication stages, verify MTRs, and collaborate with production, welding, paint, and engineering teams to prevent nonconforming work. You will stop work for significant quality or safety issues, document results, and ensure traceability of inspection records.

Qualifications

• Experience in steel fabrication or related quality inspection roles.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and weld symbols.
• Familiarity with welding and coating inspection procedures.

Responsibilities

• Inspect base materials, welds, and coatings for conformance to drawings and specs.
• Verify material tests and dimensional tolerances on fabrication bases.
• Document inspection results and flag nonconformances for corrective action.
• Coordinate with production, welding, painting, and engineering teams on quality issues.
