Job summary

Adams 12 Five Star Schools is seeking a dedicated BASE Program Lead to supervise and support students during educational and recreational activities and field trips at Hulstrom K-8 in Thornton, CO. The role involves guiding students, maintaining discipline, ensuring safety, and coordinating with parents, staff, and the site director.

Responsibilities include opening/closing the program, preparing snacks, recording attendance, assisting with staff supervision, and developing engaging activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of 6 months of experience in supervising and monitoring students.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be qualified based on the Department of Human Services regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support children in the BASE Program during educational and recreational activities and field trips.
• Provide direction, guidance and assistance to students; handle student discipline; ensure safety and security; communicate with parents, staff and site director.
• Open, close and secure school building at the end of the program; prepare snacks; clean areas; record attendance; assist sick or injured students; supervise BASE Program staff.
• Mentor and train BASE Program site aides; assist with hiring; review time records as needed.
• Ensure proper building security at day end and perform other duties as assigned.
