Job summary

Global Medical Response is seeking a HAA Pilot for a full-time role with pathways to leadership and training across bases. You will schedule pilot duties, support flight planning, and orient new hires while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance.

The position emphasizes aircraft preflight, weather monitoring, and efficient base operations. The role requires substantial helicopter time and rotorcraft certifications; preferred candidates have supervisory experience and a high school diploma

Qualifications

• 2000 hours total flight time
• 1500 hours helicopter time
• 1000 hours helicopter pilot in command
• 500 hours turbine
• 100 hours night unaided, or 50 hours unaided with 100 hours aided
• Rotorcraft-Helicopter Commercial Certificate
• Rotorcraft-Helicopter Instrument Rating
• High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership and training to Base Line Pilots
• Develops and coordinates with the Regional Director of Flight Operations on the pilot duty schedules
• Coordinates with the Program Director on flight planning activities and resources
• Conducts local area orientations for new hire pilots
• Coordinates aviation activities for public relations events
• Reviews and submits monthly flight/duty logs
• Monitors pilots and assists in day-to-day management
• Submits payroll grids to the Regional Director of Flight Operations
• Operates the aircraft safely in accordance with Rotorcraft Flight Manual
• Monitors weather and forecasts
• Performs aircraft preflight and notes discrepancies
