Job summary

Global Medical Response is seeking a Base Pilot Supervisor to lead base pilots and ensure operations meet FAA regulations and company manuals. The role partners with the Program Director to maintain safe, efficient, and economical base operations.

The BPS will supervise pilots, manage duty schedules, coordinate flight planning, perform preflight checks, and ensure logs and payroll are accurately maintained. The position requires extensive rotorcraft experience and supervisory capability.

Qualifications

• 2000 hours total flight time and 1500 helicopter hours required.
• Rotorcraft-Helicopter Commercial Certificate required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and training to Base Line Pilots.
• Coordinate pilot duty schedules with Regional Director of Flight Operations.
• Assist in flight planning activities and resources for mission support at the base.
• Conduct local area orientations for new hire pilots.
• Monitor weather and forecast changes to support safety and efficiency.
• Submit payroll grids and ensure timely monthly flight logs are completed.
• Perform preflight checks and report discrepancies with maintenance.
• Ensure aircraft operations comply with Rotorcraft Flight Manual and regulations.
