Job summary

UPS is seeking Building and Systems Engineering (BaSE) Mechanics to maintain a package handling facility. The role is fast-paced and requires interaction with hub staff; candidates must be available for 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shifts in a 24x7 operation and have a strong electrical background with the ability to pass an electrical assessment.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting and repairing AC/DC electrical equipment, motors, conveyors, PLCs, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, and performing

Qualifications

• Must have a strong electrical background and pass electrical assessment.
• Experience with troubleshooting and maintaining electrical and mechanical systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, adjust, and replace AC/DC electrical equipment.
• Inspect and repair motors, conveyors, PLCs, and related components.
• Maintain pneumatic and hydraulic equipment.
• Weld components as required by scope of work.
• Perform preventive maintenance inspections.
