Job summary

UPS is seeking BaSE Mechanics for building and systems maintenance in a 24x7 hub environment in Wisconsin. The role covers electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic system upkeep with emphasis on safety and reliability.

Candidates should have a strong electrical background and be able to pass an electrical assessment. Starting hourly pay is $39.92 with a $75,000–$100,000 salary range and comprehensive benefits after probation.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen or legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Available to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift in a 24x7 operation
• Strong electrical background and ability to pass an electrical assessment
• Experience with AC/DC electrical equipment, motors, and conveyors

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting, adjusting, and replacing AC/DC electrical equipment and components
• Inspecting, repairing, and replacing mechanical components like motors and conveyors
• Inspecting, troubleshooting pneumatic equipment and hydraulic hoses and pumps
• Welding handrails, supports, and equipment as defined by scope
• Performing preventive maintenance inspections on plant equipment and conveyors
• Support a fast-paced UPS facility environment with team coordination
