Job summary

US Air-Combat-Command is seeking a food service worker for the Compass Cafe at Seymour Johnson AFB (NAF). Hours will be set by the facility manager to meet the cafe's needs.

Applicants must be able to stand for long periods and frequently bend, stoop, reach, pull, push, and lift up to 40 pounds, with occasional heavier lifting with assistance. A Pre-Employment physical is required, and eligibility details are managed per base policies.

Qualifications

• Must have experience in methods and procedures relating to food preparation and presentation gained in a grill, snack bar, restaurant, club or similar food activity.
• Knowledge of cleaning and operating food service equipment and characteristics of various foods, and the ability to season food and decide when foods are done.
