S.M. Lawrence Co., Inc. is seeking a Building Automation Systems (BAS) Technician Helper to assist with mounting devices, wiring low-voltage controls, and supporting our HVAC projects in commercial settings.

You will follow supervisor directions, read basic diagrams, maintain a safe worksite, and learn BAS software and control sequences while delivering a professional customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation of BAS controllers, sensors, actuators, and field devices.
• Pull and terminate low-voltage wiring for controls systems.
• Mount and wire panels, VAV boxes, and other field equipment under supervision.
• Support senior technicians during startup, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe jobsite.
• Read and interpret basic wiring diagrams and installation drawings.
• Follow site safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Learn fundamentals of HVAC systems, controls sequences, and BAS front-end software.
• Perform related duties or special projects as assigned.
