Job summary

Cerris Systems is seeking a Building Automation Specialist to program, install, test, and commission BAS on-site in Reno, NV. You will work closely with project plans, update field documentation, and troubleshoot DDC components to ensure HVAC performance.

Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree in HVAC or IT related studies preferred, or equivalent work experience.
• Completed HVAC apprenticeship program preferred.
• Associate degree or equivalent work experience accepted.

Responsibilities

• Program Building Automation Systems based on project plans and documents.
• Execute field changes and update databases/programs.
• Commission and verify functionality of DDC components and HVAC systems.
• Troubleshoot DDC programs, components, and communications.
• Maintain documentation and drive clear communication with clients and team.
• Support relationships with clients, vendors, and inspectors.
