Job summary

CM3 Building Solutions, Inc. is seeking an RCx Technician to perform retro-commissioning for building automation, mechanical systems, and building envelope at commercial sites.

This role involves extensive field testing, data collection, and documentation, with coordination of customer IT and site teams. The position requires 1–3 years of HVAC/BAS experience, knowledge of low voltage systems, and ability to operate in a field environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years of HVAC and BAS systems experience.
• Knowledge of low voltage power, communication and network wiring practices.
• BAS platform experience (Schneider Electric ECOSTRUXURE, Niagara Framework) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide software project upload and data update.
• Complete onsite testing (functional and pre-functional testing of mechanical and automation systems).
• Collect field readings and document results.
• Verify automation system performance and provide documentation of tested devices.
• Assist in report compilation and complete daily reports.
• Review design documents and compare submittals to design.
• Perform pre-functional, functional, and point-to-point testing; wire labeling.
