Job summary

Arizona State University is seeking a Building Automation Support Technician to assist field teams with BAS operations and troubleshooting in Tempe. You will provide remote diagnostics, startup/shutdown support, and help develop workflows to improve operational efficiency.

The role requires experience with BAS platforms (Metasys, Siemens, Andover, Distech), CMMS usage, and strong communication skills to coordinate with vendors and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Experience with BAS platforms such as Metasys, Siemens, Andover or Distech.
• Able to read schematics and control drawings accurately.
• Interpret building system performance data and HVAC fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Support field technicians with system operations and troubleshooting.
• Provide remote diagnostics and startup/shutdown assistance.
• Develop, document, and improve workflows and operational processes.
• Manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment and adapt to change.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams, vendors, and customers.
• Support energy management and power outage response programs.
• Perform system commissioning and ensure compliance with project requirements.
