Job summary

EMCOR Services Automated Controls is seeking a BAS Service Technician to perform maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and commissioning of building automation systems on-site and remotely. You will manage service documentation, contract hours, and customer communication to ensure optimal system performance.

Qualifications

• MET Technical Degree, MES Journeyman, or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 7-10 years related experience in controls/mechanical industry; controls service experience preferred.
• Mechanical service experience preferred.
• Service estimation experience preferred.
• Familiarity with building automation software & applications; Microsoft Office tools; and construction/maintenance tracking software preferred.
• Excellent customer relations and communications skills; self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled controls preventative maintenance for various building automation systems.
• Perform technical startup/checkout/commissioning of building automation systems.
• Perform service call troubleshooting, repair, and replacement of building automation systems.
• Provide remote support for building automation customers.
• Log maintenance tasks via building automation system; complete service ticket reports.
