Kelso Building Services, Minneapolis, MN, is seeking a Senior BAS Technician to service, maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize building automation systems across facilities. You will work with remote analytics, support energy optimization, and mentor junior technicians while delivering superior customer experiences.

The role requires hands-on BAS/DDC experience, strong HVAC knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple accounts with adherence to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of BAS service experience.
• Strong HVAC troubleshooting knowledge.
• Experience reading control drawings and sequences of operation.
• Experience commissioning and servicing DDC systems.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to pass background screening and drug testing.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsabilités

• Troubleshoot and repair BAS control systems and field devices.
• Diagnose HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and controls-related issues.
• Perform preventative maintenance and service agreement inspections.
• Support controller replacements, upgrades, migrations, and system expansions.
• Validate sequences of operation and optimize system performance.
• Assist with commissioning, retro-commissioning, and startup activities.
• Complete point-to-point verification and functional performance testing.
• Maintain accurate documentation and system backups.
• Support enterprise and site-level building automation platforms.
• Assist customers with energy optimization initiatives.
