Job summary

Redbock - an NES Fircroft company is seeking a Facilities Engineer II to lead and optimize the enterprise BAS across client sites. You will oversee engineering, installation, commissioning, and ongoing service of BAS systems, coordinating with facility teams and external vendors to ensure efficient, reliable operations.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years in BAS/HVAC systems operation, with experience in design, installation, commissioning, and training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus 2+ years of BAS/HVAC/building systems operation and maintenance experience
• Experience with BAS design, installation, commissioning, and training
• Excellent mechanical systems knowledge (HVAC, electrical, plumbing)
• Tridium/Niagara BAS experience; certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead BAS lifecycle activities: engineering, design, installation, service, upgrades, and optimization
• Review drawings and specifications for BAS projects at client sites
• Oversee small to mid BAS projects from concept through execution
• Manage BAS project financials: drafting RFPs, PO tracking, capex requests
• Create/execute commissioning documents and ensure adherence to BAS Standards and SOPs
• Support cross-functional teams and vendors to troubleshoot complex building systems
• Provide training to maintenance staff on BAS operations
• Maintain BAS infrastructure and pursue continuous improvement initiatives
• Document work, root causes, and resolutions in CMMS
