Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a BAS/BMS Controls Engineer to design, deliver, and support building automation systems for diverse facilities. The role requires 3+ years in the BAS/BMS/HVAC controls space and hands-on design experience.

You will oversee projects from design through construction, coordinating with the Global Engineering Center and BIM teams. Office-based with site visits, offering growth and exposure to large-scale projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years in Building Automation/BMS/HVAC Controls or related controls industry.
• Experience supporting controls projects through design, submittals, material selection, construction support, and project execution.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems (air handlers, chillers, pumps, valves, sensors, actuators, control devices).
• Experience developing or reviewing controls drawings, wiring diagrams, and engineering documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead controls design engineer on medium to large BAS/BMS projects through full design lifecycle.
• Develop, review, and coordinate controls drawings, system architectures, wiring diagrams, control drawings, and documentation.
• Manage submittals, material ordering, equipment selection, and project deliverables.
• Review, price, and incorporate change orders into design packages.
• Coordinate activities with Schneider Electric's Global Engineering Center and remote design resources.
• Attend customer and contractor meetings and communicate action items.
